RS Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding organisation in the WATER & FOOD STORAGE SOLUTIONS, to recruit a KEY ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE: FIRE PREVENTION INDUSTRY based in MIDRAND.

Purpose of the position: To service, retain and grow within a defined client base and sector – namely Fire Protection. The role is also inclusive of new business which will be included in the target. existing clients, identify and cold call on potential clients, introduce the company and identify opportunities to generate business. FULL PRODUCT SALES TRAINING PROVIDED.

Applicants should be/have the following:

  • The ideal candidate should have strong people and project management skills.
  • Matric Certificate
  • Project Management or key Accounts Management background.
  • Preferable have a strong network on Engineers and Project Managers.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong people and project management skills.
  • Must be customer focused and technically orientated with a proven sales track record.
  • Must have Fire Protection/suppression industry experience.
  • Technically orientated and able to understand Engineers jargon.
  • Driver’s License essential.
  • Computer literate and able to use Word, Excel with good Power Point skills.
  • B2B/Commercial Sales experience in a construction/manufacturing environment – minimum 5 years
  • Must be customer focused and technically orientated.
  • Proven sales track record with a minimum of 3-5 years at a previous position.
  • Fully computer literate: MS Package and any CRM package
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English – Afrikaans/African language an advantage.
  • Able to present a compelling sales proposition – by written word, telephonically, face to face or to larger prospects using Power Point.
  • Must be self-confident and comfortable to cold call on clients.

 

Key roles and responsibilities – but not limited to:

  • Formulate key account plans to secure existing business and entrench the company into the client’s core business plans.
  • Formulate detailed organograms of the client and develop multi-layered relationships on all levels within the client’s organization.
  • Ensure that the multi-layered relationships are strategic and aliened to the key account plan.
  • Develop loyalty rewards programs-call cycles will be set up and monitored based on desired number of visits and attention required.
  • Interaction with our clients Senior Management – as part of the accounts plans.
  • Network with existing and potential clients to generate leads
  • Maintain relationships with current clients
  • Generate reports on weekly activities

 

Remuneration:

  • R20k to R30k basic (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • Plus, Large company benefits, commission on value of sales, Company vehicle and cell phone.
